Fair Representation

Jean Okuye brought her time, partnerships, and educational skills to the 2022 Merced County Fair June 8th -12th to represent East Merced Resource Conservation District and the watershed.

Jean shared a booth with State Parks, State Fish and Wildlife, and Grasslands Education Center and was neighbored by a large exhibit on the right with volunteers educating fair attendees. State Parks also brought animal pelts and kayaks.

Candice Sigmond with State Fish and Wildlife brought stuffed animals. An attractive 30 ft. long display behind glass displayed watershed information of Merced County and the fairgrounds had stored pictures of birds cut out of Styrofoam.
